The WRDI Institute has a strategic alliance with the Apollonean Institute, which has developed the Apollo Profile. The Apollo Profile is a self report questionnaire for comprehensively assessing “soft skills” (including leadership). It offers an efficient alternative (both in terms of economics and ease of data collection), to 360º feedback, including its application for specialists or professionals and lower level employees who do not manage people. The Apollo Profile reports on up to 34 scales grouped under 8 Capability Indicators. Capabilities are similar to competencies but include both the can do as well as the will do, and as such, they include a more dynamic aspect beyond that inherent in typical competency measures.

The Apollonean Institute has conducted extensive research linking “soft skills” measurement to performance, with established benchmarks according to management / job levels within organisations. The Apollo Profile has application both as a recruitment tool (against these benchmarks), and as an organisational development tool for the identification of training and development needs.
